| Much better off here in my part of the world. Best ever crop of corn and beans. Beans were a good 10 bu better than my previous record. Sold a fair amount for $10 and with the tariff payment(s) added in will come close to a $10 ave. Corn was also a record and here locally we can get almost $3.60 for Jan delivery on unsold bu. I can make good money off of those prices with the yields we were fortunate enough to have. I have a lot of sympathy for those in areas with crops still in the field and horrible basis. I can’t fathom some of the basis numbers I see posted here sometimes. Certainly would make profitability much harder. | |
