ESW ND | Happens many times. Our dog chased a yote the other day while feeding cows. He got tired and started coming back, but the coyote returned the favor and chased him. Little did the yote know, Dad had the 2 sons of the chased dog in the tractor with him. Those two were fired up. Between the farts, fur and barks, they wanted out bad. All 3 are bigger than the coyotes are and easily would have killed him, but they usually use a single yote as a decoy to get them to chase him over the hill. Then the rest of the coyotes take over. A single dog usually wouldn't stand a chance, but our 3 boys woulda held their own. I don't want them getting tore up or get mange or rabies. So the fire stick does the talking for them. They know what the gun is for and if you grab it....they start looking at the hillsides, cuz it means something is about to happen. | |
