Yes. you only need to keep the receiver powered up. The display and NAV2 can remain key-switched. I did this on a magnum 275 with a 262 on Omnistar to avoid the convergence time when turning the tractor on.

I looked into moving a pin in the wire harness in the roof or in the cab, but options were going ot be complicated. I ended up running a wire from the battery up the A post by the exhaust, then across the top of the cab to the Deutsch plug that goes into the receiver. You'll need one Deutsch pin to crimp on, then swap that into the power pin for the receiver. Put electrical tape or heat shrink over the old pin because it is still hot when the key is on. Also, be sure to put a fuse on the wire where it goes to the battery. 1 to 5 amps is sufficient.
