Marion,ks | From my observations 60 mile NE of Wichita Ks .If your wheat was not planted in the last few Days of September the big rains ruined the stand. I actually finished planting wheat Oct.2 except for wheat after soybeans they where not ripe. Anything planted the1st or 2nd had horribile issues getting a stand I ended up replanting 1/2 of that Oct.20 you can just see rows , anything planted after that is not emerged and probally will not till spring with not much potential. Our September wheat looks fine , only problem area wide that was only probally a third of what what was intended . I really doubt any of the Goverment crop reports any more. |
