That was added on by the previous owner so you could pull it with a pickup, pull hitch off, hook up 2 point and remove tires. It works pretty good. Didn't have to use it much but it does come in handy once in awhile. We had just put new belts on within the last 2 or three years as well. Only reason we traded was we got a triple mower so we needed a continuous merger.
