Southeast WI | The bigger question is what do you need to do with your soils to maximize productivity? If you are a long time stripper you now have notill soils and just like a dark, lightly tilled strip to plant into so the emerging plant thinks it’s in tilled, soft soil. Pluribus works great for that. It’s why I have mine for flatter and heavier ground. Straight notill on lighter soils. If you are on transition ground, run heavy carts and combines, custom strip for generally conventional tillers, you better stick with the shank machine. My 2 cents from experience. | |
