Subject: Re: Trimble 262 pricing?

Sunnyvale, CA
If you already have a high-end display, like a Trimble FMD, AgLeader Insight or Case Pro-600 the Ag262 might make sense to keep the cab from too much clutter. If you are starting over from "scratch" the EZ-Guide 500 is a good choice. The EZ-Guide 500 and AgGPS 262 both have the same GPS receiver technology and both units can be upgraded to Omnistar HP/XP and RTK. If you are going to want more functionality in the future, like implement steering, the new Trimble FmX is worth looking at, because it has two built-in upgradable receivers that can be unlocked to allow either active or passive implement steering.
