I seem to blow a fuse every other season or so. It's usually an odd size chunk of something somehow get in it. I'd clean it out good and make sure it turns free. 7.5 amps is as much cheating as I would do on fuse size.

I would also check the electrical connections on the line that feeds that motor. If it's a poor connection, and causing voltage drop, the motor will pull more amps. Maybe it's just a poor connection.
