Chilliwack BC | I think that there were 4 within 15 miles or so. 2 of them were caught very early and caused no damage. Apparently there were also possibly 2 fires 30 miles west.
Every bunker fire had hay or straw spread on the silage tarp to hold it down. Certain conditions with the wrong type of gas present can apparently self ignite like how oiling the threads of an oxygen bottle would. There is still no “known” official cause. | |
