It was a lack of capital that caused them to blow out of hedges and do a double and triple up accumulaters. Volatility was thru the roof so selling 2.00 out of the money puts seemed like a no brainer.
I remember buying some puts for a nickel that ended up two dollars in the money. It was crazy times.
Be careful w/ exotic grain marketing contracts
