SW Ohio | Short answer, No and No. That said I did both last year (all beans). I will use at least OmniStar next year and RTK if the market for beans will just get going a little.
I started the year with a EZ500 for the sprayer... found out I drove worse trying to follow the lights so then I added the EZsteer. When the controller went south in the sprayer I got the Insight since I wanted to do yield mapping anyway. I'm happy with all of it but it doesn't eliminate markers here in my part of Ohio.
Where are you located? I think it may make a difference. Plowboy in KS does fine with WASS. But I would look carefully at the ability to upgrade.
The guess row moves too much here. Sometimes more than 6 feet!
