Hopefully the coop bar isn't junk. Does it have a ground wheel metering system? It might be wise to do 10 acres or so, then weigh the tank to make sure it's putting on enough anhydrous. I would say most of the time, I'm only going 4" deep. As long as I don't see gas leaking out of the ground, it should be fine.
