Tuscola, IL | Yeah you don't need the 12V plug when updating the NAV. That is only for the antenna. Not sure that would cause the issues you're seeing, but definitely don't use the 12V plug.
Another thought I had was that I've run into this problem once in the 2 years I've been doing precision, I was updating a NAV that had very old software in it and was trying to go to V9.40. I had trouble with losing communication with the NAV and then got to the point where it the NAV wouldn't show up in the flashloader program on the computer. Instead of going from the old version to 9.40, I put in a version somewhere in between and then went and put 9.40 in after that. That seemed to solve the problem for me. This was on a combine. | |
