The reasoning i have heard behind not being able to control on and off with the Rawson with the planter in the ground is that it takes the Rawson motor time to get up to operating speed. If you were trying to autoswath with it, there would be areas that didn't have the correct population because of the incorrect speed of the Rawson motor.
