East Central Kansas | no, down pressure is not just psi. much more to it than that. down pressure is the weight that is being carried by the units gauge wheels. psi on a gauge tells you nothing about how much weight is being carried by the gauge wheels or the double disk openers. there is a difference and has nothing to do with ride quality. the 20/20 measures them seperately. you want the gauge wheels carrying the weight. that means you have even seed depth. if your double disk openers are carrying too much weight than you have uneven seed depth and most likely poor ride quality.
