NEIA | Here is my 2 cents, right or wrong. Been running one for 6 years now. First 3 years gave me fits. To dry to wet. Tried all the different settings that 3 different dryer techs told me to do. Gave up on all of them. Set my coefficient at zero. Set the target where I wanted to be when it came out of the dryer. The fans in the bins will cool and dry it down, some faster some slower. It will all get to the same point at some time. It has ran like a Swiss watch since that time. You just need to figure out some settings and write them down. Here are some of mine that you can try. Wet corn going in, 17% to 18 set point 16.7, 18 to 19 set point 17, 17%, 19 to 20 set point 17.2, 20 to 22 set point 17.5, over 22 set point 18. The wetter the corn going in the hotter it will be coming out. That is why the higher set points. You will lose more in the bin. Your mileage may very. | |
