SW MN | I had 2 4400 diesels. One very late model with the rotary screen like a 6620. Good little machines, just check the right side (if you are sitting in the seat) of the primary countershaft. The main pulley on that side has a keyway in it and can get a little slop in it. If it is sloppy, just get an oversize key and mill or grind it to size, tap it in and run it for another 1000 hours.
Should fit you fine for what you want. I think you can still get a lot of parts from Shoup for it (at least you could 7 years ago yet...)
