| Some very useful information here. I wondered if I could use that 5 pin connector labeled "GPS", I have a schematic and pinout for it and its just saying GPS RX and GPS TX, I wondered if those were RS232 or not. Secondly, I do like the cable that is in the pic, seems simple enough to make, but the question I have is that I've read when having the TX from the 700 back to the 750 messes things up. And really, I don't know why I would want that anyways. There's no need to relay anything back to the 750 unless there was a function where it controlled mapping on/off. Traditionally I've mounted whisker switches on our implements to do that job.
Any chance you could elaborate on the programming notes, I got a little lost there. I know from speaking to a couple precision guys I'll have to set the 700 up that its getting data from "port B" if I'd use that DB9, and I understand selecting the baud rate, but the rest I don't quite get.
