Tuscola, IL | Depends on which $5 one you're using. I just had to have a guy replace his today because when he keyed on, all he got was an hour glass. Had him unplug the display and power it back on and same thing. I asked if he had a memory card in it and he did. Unplugged again and pulled memory card. This time he powered it back up and it came on just fine. This was the $14.99 memory card that the parts department had sitting on the counter that had Case IH AFS on it. It has the folding silver housing on it. If you look closely at the package that it comes in, it says "not approved for use in Pro 700 display". I've had more issues caused with this memory card than any of the others. But, I agree, there are some out there that work just fine. Last I checked, I think the price on the 'approved' card has come down some, but it's still $40 or so. | |
