If I stored my entire corn crop and put it under the ccc loan and sold the carryten months in advance it would cost me 21,000 in interest costs off the ccc loan. Interest cost alone is 18.5 cents for ten months. A bin payment of 10,000 increases it to 31,000 a year. Combine both and you need carrying costs above 27 cent to come out ahead in 10 months.
