Selma, Alabama | I am currently running an A5 and I like the operation of the system. The set-up on the JD AT ready tractor seems much easier than having to add another hydraulic valve. The Farm Pro(Raven's Viper Pro platform) looks intriguing for a total control solution. We plant and dig peanuts with our A5. The repeatability issue is huge for what we do (not to say other farmers reasons for repeatability aren't as important).
There are all brands of RTK systems in this immediate area. As of yet, no networks. Good young operator's are hard to find. Good young tractor driver's aren't as hard to come by. I would rather take a young employee and teach them, as to try and break old habits with more experienced operators. | |
