Steiger 580? Never heard of 580 STX. The 580 uses an PEV valve which is a module mounted on the end of a valve. Your issue sounds like this is faulty. Is this a model year 16 or newer? Then the valve is calibrated through A-post. If older then you would need tech with EST to troubleshoot
