Recently purchased a New Leader 3020G4 with AgLeader DP 6 controller. Controller is very inconsistent. One load it will run short of what is in hopper and next load it will run long. It’s off by 20% or more fairly regular without changing gate height or spreader cr. First I put a new encoder and then a spare console. Neither one of these changes fixed the problem. I’m thinking it might be with the spreader module, but wanted to see what others thought first. TIA
Maybe just the nature of the beast. Granular control is not nearly as precise as liquid control. The density and flowability of the product can change considerably. Sometimes reducing the gate height and running the bed faster may produce better results. |
