Subject: Taking Grain to town...

Ohio
I have a question about taking my dried at home corn to town compared to taking the corn to town wet out of the field.... I DON'T Want this to become a Test Weight Discussion!!!

My question is... If I have the same Grain truck that I am taking all of my corn to town in and I wanted to figure out and compare how many trips to town it would take for me to haul my corn to town straight out of the field at lets say 20% compared to taking them home and drying the corn to 15% and then taking them to town. Will I actually take less trips to town if I were to take everything home and dry it before taking it to town? Does the kernel actually/physically shirk by 1.2 % or so per point?

Again I am not trying to start a discussion about Test Weight so please don't take it there!!!

Thanks!
