So Cook and Trump (sounds like a TV show) want to remove SEC restrictions for quarterly reports. The most obnoxious aspect to this proposal is the timing, after the run we've had in equities. To me it looks like Trump and tech money have an eye toward supplying the news for one more big short squeeze and leg up in price, and that is the function of this proposal. Other interpretations?
I disagree I have always felt the quarterly reports make it so company’s have to spend to much time just worrying about keeping investors happy and can’t always run the business for long term best interests |
