Find a plant usually along the edge of your field that looks like it’s dying and at the base the stems will be brown looking with even mold on it somtimes. Take a sharp knive and slice the outer brown plant skin back and you will see these little red larva’s moving around. These are the culprits that are killing the plant. The ones shown here were sprayed 5 days earlier with a ground rig putting on 25 gallons of water with Lorsban. As you can tell it didn’t phase them at this stage. That’s why I’m really hoping they figure out how to control them soon.
