At a seed dealers appreciation dinner last night, an agronomist there said he figured a certain hybrid that was planted on April 25th of this year would’ve accumulated 20 more days worth of GDU’s compared to normal. So the corn here must think it’s the end of August instead of the middle of the month. Not sure how that’ll effect yields exactly, but I don’t think it’ll be helping them.
