I checked our 1st planted today. It's fired up to the leaf below ear on average. 113 day corn, only quarter milk. Corn on corn, too many plants, out of N, black ground. Field made 240 last year and my checks today using 95k were around 180. there are better fields around, by a lot. Some worse too.
Accumulated GDUs--black layer corn next week?
