My son and I love fried okra so we planted some this year in the garden. Man! The okra goes from too little to too big in a day, and it’s itchy! My questions for those that grow it are 1-how do you know when to pick? 2-what to do with the okra that got too big? 3-what do you do to prevent the itchies or treat them after you get them?! Any okra recipes would be appreciated too.
