Yes, Rick is correct. It was a lower priced tractor that was a direct competitor to the 4000 John Deere. Unlike the 4000, it is the same rear end as a farmall 856. The differences between my custom and a regular farmall 856 are: no remote, just a pioneer female coupler on 2 ends of hoses. 6 bolt front hubs, originally a round muffler like an 856, single element air cleaner, and one headlight in each fender, fast hitch instead of 3pt, mechanical seat.
