If your old one is workable, I would wait and see. I don't think equipment prices are depressed at all, but Iowa is a strong market for Ag machinery. Big shocker there.

I've been watching some auction sites and plenty of stuff is going for more than a private or dealer sale. Sometimes significantly higher. I'm surprised folks have not backed off, but folks are still expecting $5 corn in the face of increasing carry over or is it going to be some big government check. Either could happen, but I'm not sure that's a business plan. |
