Subject: RE: Printer recommendations

SW South Dakota
My ink was always dried up when I wanted to print, or the ink heads plugged up from sitting so long. After going through two cheap printers I bought a HP color laser. It's been a few years ago, but I think it was $400. Toner is expensive, but it doesnt dry out. I think I've replaced all the cartridges once, and that was because we did a large print job. I set it up on wifi so it sets in the back of the house and we can print from our laptops or phones whenever we want. I am having problems connecting with it now, but that started after the phone company put in a new modem/router.

My parents needed a new printer/ copier, so I got them a color laser HP also. I think it's a printer/copier/scanner (dont think it can fax). Got it two years after mine and I think it was about $450. They went over a year before buying toner, and the ones that come with it are only half full I think. Mom kind of complained about the cost of it, but she used to have to change ink cartridges about every month.
