Combines easy but lot of green stuff. half the kernals will be black the other half green to brown Put it in a drying bin Immediately or it will heat .keep the air temp low. Will mature as it drys. Never windrowed here direct cut. Was a good double crop behind late wheat here ,Plant the first week of August always made a crop but market went away.
Oh and be ready next year for a solid stand of volunteers. And a hard rain in the fall will knock it off the stalk. | |
