I wondered how you've been getting along down there. While one never wants hail...........I think that corn will come out of it fairly good since it got a shot of rain simultaneously. I have done a little more extensive testing with the skip row corn this year by planting half of the field regular and half skip. We are actually still planting but should be done today. Haven't had much rain but did finally catch 1.5 to 2 inches a week ago. Only have half the dryland acres planted compared to last year due to dryness but maybe a little more fallow and wheat isn't a bad thing.
