Coles County, Illinois
I have no doubts that often Rangepoint is OK for planting. WAAS with autosteer is helpful for planting. The real test and the need for the repeatability of Centerpoint and RTK comes from being able to use auto steer on subsequent passes.

An example would be this spring after Planting corn I sprayed my Pre's on Corn and Soybeans. The evening I finished spraying I got .7" rain. That rain was a perfect incorporation of my Soybean Pre's. Because my sprayer is 3X my planter width and the repeatability of my system I did not work the ground again. I knew I would not be planting into wheeltracks.
