western iowa,by Denison | they have programs, but every time I tried them the cost was prohibitive-on there specs-with 299 head you can do about anything-we have been building 43x160 bedding pack barns at around $46,000 with concrete and everything-on that footprint-we do have 170 head in the buildings right now because we are working on a outside lot putting a shade structure up. I wish I could afford a slat building but usually it comes up at $900-$1200 a head.
Will you haul your pit manure yourself? Lot of guys getting back into that as there is good money hauling liquid manure | |
