SE IL | you can use any cheap receiver to make maps with the 600. Your dealer, or someplace like ag express could set you up with the cables.
You can use the 600 for data just like your black box, it will give you the same reports, just a little easier to see on the 600.
A nav controller is the box that physically opens and closes the steering valves, for integrated steering. If the combine has it, you would find a valve block with electrical connections plumbed into the steering lines, most likely on the underside of the cab.
You can use an ezsteer on the combine and get gps from it to the 600 for yield mapping,
