NE South Dakota Clark, SD | Don't take this the wrong way, but that is really ugly. I can see the influence from the yield data that should have been cleaned up before using it but was not. The ends of the passes should all be cut out to get rid of the data from the machine cleaning out before you turned around. This is false yield data that should never be used. Also the streaking should be smoothed out before using it. I highly doubt your field actually has single pass streaks with problems affecting it like that. A plugged fertilizer nozzle or a sprayer skip could cause that as a one time deal, but is really not a reflection of the field. If is the nature of yield data to show thinks like this, but they need to be cleaned up. If you would like to see a better way, let me know I will show you a how to get a much better map. I am sure it would return much better than turning the planter rows off at the wheel tracks. |
