I don't do edibles but I do non gmo soy. If it was me I would wait on the pre.
1. The burn down should take care of what's there now.
2. If you do a tillage pass at planting you will knock out what ever germinates in the next ten days, also would bury the pre if you had put it out there and bring up new seeds to germinate on top.
3. The goal of the pre is to keep the beans weed free as long as possible. I would wait as long as possible.
