Subject: How early is too early, applying a pre with burn down

Michigan
Will start planting navy beans around first week of June. Fields have random patches of volunteer winter wheat that need to be sprayed within a day or two.
Would you add your pre ( prowl/outlook) with the Roundup now or wait till just before planting in ten days and make a second trip with the sprayer?
Ground will not be worked until planting.
