Southeast Colorado | Hell of a deal guys. Not sure what I'll find when the smoke settles down. Bad fire this afternoon with 60 mph winds changed directions half way through. I've found a burned out field so at least I know the fire can't get me. Wife and I have chatted on the phone and I know she's safe. We're both opposite sides of the house about a mile away from each other but neither can see past our hoods. My Mom's with her so that's good too. I drove by our one empty rental house where our corrals are and it is all on fire. Pretty sure I'm not going to like what lies ahead. Have 100 head of cattle out there somewhere and our entire equipment line less the tractor and disk I'm with. | |
