Subject: RE: Trip report on Field conditions across southern MN

southern MN
It's nice to see something not in my back yard, for perspective.

Naturally, different here, near the bend of the Minnesota River.

After some thawing yesterday, and a full day of bright sun and a high of almost 40, I still couldn't see anyone in the fields this afternoon here.

probably not tomorrow either, 2-4 inches predicted. Which is good news, we had been up to 7 inches forecast earlier on. I guess it is going somewhere else?

(Sorry, Iowa.....)

Considering we do nearly full fall tillage here, and that was the strongest 36 hours winds I remember in years, 20-40mph constant while it snowed and 15-30 most of the day after, I'm pretty pleased with how white the snow is. Unless it's terribly dry, our dirt doesn't blow that much.

Paul
