Subject: Can a Trimble FMX

Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle

Please bear with me if this seems like a stupid question, this is the first year for any kind of precision

On this new planter Im planning on running 2 starter systems, one for in furrow and one behind the closing wheels. Probably about 5-7gal each depending on mix. Also have hyd drives run by the FMX

Right now Im thinking of just using the stand alone speed controllers and not messing with the variable rate stuff on this yet.

So my question is, is there an easy way to use some kind of signal from the FMX to trigger a relay and turn the pump controllers on and off when the planter is lifted or basically whenever the hydraulic drives are running? Hope that makes sense, maybe its way more complicated than Im thinking as well

I have implement switches on the planter and I could just T into that harness and run the trigger wire but I thought if theres an easy way to do it via the FMX thatd be slick.
