With the Implement switches, the pumps will run anytime your planter is down. Even when stopped. If your hydraulic drive module is both Rate and Section, then using relays is possible. We set up our single product electric pump in conjunction with the section control relays for half width clutches. So, three relays total with numbers 1 and 3 being the clutches and number 2 the pump. Actually think we have them on Section pins 2,3 and 4. Then, rather than mess with overlap percentage on the 12 row planter, we set section 1 as 1 row wide, section 2 as rows 2-5 (left clutch), section 3 as rows 6,7 (pump), section 4 are rows 8-11 (right clutch) and section 5 row 12. Nothing is really triggered by the section 1 and 5 signal. The pump runs anytime at least six rows are planting. In your case, just one section work work and using the off when stopped setting should keep it from pumping when down and not moving.

If your hydraulic drives are Rawson's then you will need at least a Section Module.
