I have some Panasonic toughbooks that pretty good in the sun light. Very expensive new but I've been buying used ones off of ebay and had pretty good luck with them. The full rugged ones are military grade and can take abuse pretty good. I like the small ones CF-M34 model they don't take up so much room.
