south central IOWA | One of the years I'd consider but that car is not equipped or in the condition I want.
I'm looking for a 66-67 or even a 64 with a 427 in it..... haha that's a joke since finding one of those ain't gonna happen I'm afraid.
So I'll settle for a 390- 4 speed or if I could find the right 64 with a 4 speed I'd go that route. But finding complete cars that aren't rusty and haven't been redone are few and far between. And with virtually no aftermarket parts available for Fairlane's, a guy has to be a little picky with what he starts with.
