NW Iowa | Rough start for sure. It'll get better...I had 4 bred cows go for a swim in the creek on New year's...didn't make it out. Good cows too, probably should start swimming lessons here. Worst part was that was 25% of the he herd here then had one left that was open. And the one that always gets out didn't swimming that day either. Picked up some replacements at a good price and one has already calved (still alive!) so things are turning around here. Except for the mud... | |
