| Longtime lurker. First post.
My 2000 Volvo did the same off and on for a year. My "ignition" switch was the problem. Remove bottom steering column panel off to get to switch below key. It wasn't too expensive. However I needed it immediately and closest new switch was 2 hours away. I opened switch and cleaned old grease with contact cleaner. Sprayed a little electric lube and put back together. 180,000 bushel later still working flawlessly | |
