I have both an RF cordless mouse /keyboard, and another set that is bluetooth. Unless you want to be able to use the mouse 30 feet away from the desk I would not spend extra for the bluetooth. Most of the usb receivers for the wireless laptop mice now slide right into the mouse or something similar when you aren't using it so that makes it easy to take on the road.
