Since your laptop is bluetooth ready I would definitely go with bluetooth. No adapter to keep track of when you go from desk to mobile and basically the setup and functionality are pretty much the same. We have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse that we use on a Mac mini hooked up to our TV, and you can easily be across the room with it and it works fine.
